I met L’s mom a little over three months ago when I began my student teaching assignment. We worked alongside one another for three whole months and she taught me everything I know about being a teacher. The first time we met and discovered that our daughters were the same age, we said that they would be best friends. They have hung out twice now, and yes, they are totally BFFs. But who wouldn’t want to hang out with this cutie?!

Holy cow these are fantastic! I would like to purchase #4 with one of our engagement shots! 
It’s a Texas tradition. Every spring people search for the bluest and fullest fields. The highways are flooded with our state flower and moms and photographers alike trying to get the perfect picture of their kids. I am no exception.
Molly is a march baby. Born in the midst of bluebonnet season. The first picture her outside of the hospital was in a bluebonnet field. I kid you not. We literally stopped in a neighborhood on the way home from the hospital that we knew had a good and safe field. She was in her car seat the entire time, bundled up and warm. You can barely see her. But I have that first bluebonnet picture and I will take her kicking and screaming for each annual picture for life if I have to. I’m a crazy Texan that way.
Thankfully she had a lot of fun this year! We made a date of it: invited a friend, drove out to Chapel Hill, and ended the day with bluebell ice cream. It was a good Sunday.
I rarely do any bluebonnet pictures in black and white….but I LOVE the mood in this one!
